Benefits of a Support Network
Research shows that bariatric surgery patients who have a strong social support network—such as you might find in a bariatric support group—achieve greater success with their weight loss after surgery. Because the Center for Weight Loss Surgery is committed to the success of our patients, we believe in offering you support through the entire weight loss journey.
In a bariatric surgery support group, you can make connections with others who are going through similar experiences. Our weight loss surgery support group in Seattle is moderated by our nurse practitioner and features various guest speakers and experts throughout the year. There’s no pressure — you can just listen and absorb as long as you like. However, the relationships you form can make a difference in your outcome.
